The Only Remedy

“But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” — Galatians 3:13 NLT

It’s one thing to be sick and not be able to diagnose the problem. Yet it’s a whole different deal when the problem has been diagnosed and the RX given and we refuse to take the medicine. All of mankind is sick with the curse of sin. And the answer to every person’s sin sickness is the cross of Jesus. Imagine that someone reveals our sickness, pays for the prescription and we refuse to accept, choosing to remain sick. That someone is Jesus and yes He is our salvation from the disease of sin and the gift is free to us. Question is will we stop pursuing “our” agenda long enough to go receive the gift?

Jesus was cursed for our sin. I pray that you personally wouldn’t allow that curse to be in vain.
