“Be still”

“Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.” - ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭3‬-‭4‬, ‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I can’t imagine a more common command from parents to children than to be still. It goes against our nature. It’s one thing to be still as a child, but a totally different thing as adults to be still in the presence of the Lord. Reading through scripture Can help us be still in His presence, His truth, and His direction. It can be the end of worry and the beginning of transformation. So may we stop our racing thoughts, settle our spirits, and let God show us what he wants to do in and threw us this very day.
