The Purpose of Baptism

"Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." - ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Baptism, much like a wedding ceremony, provides a memorable experience at a specific moment in time when we openly show our devotion to Jesus. There are many great reasons for getting baptized, but here are a few:

1. To obey the Lord’s command.

2. To declare our faith.

3. To illustrate our spiritual transformation.

4. To share the gospel with the lost.

5. To be introduced to the family of God.

6. To build up the Church.

7. To progress in our growth and service by taking the next step in obedience.

Today, place your faith in Jesus and follow through with baptism.
