The Strength to Stand
“Trials teach us what we are. They dig up the soil and let us see what we are made of.” — Charles Spurgeon
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” - James 1:12
Hardship has a way of uncovering the roots of our faith. It doesn’t create weakness, it simply reveals where our strength truly lies.
When we’re met with difficulty, discomfort, or disappointment, we are also met with a choice. Will we lean into God’s promises, or try to muscle our way through on our own strength?
God never promised a life free of trials, but He did promise His presence in the middle of them. And His presence changes everything.
Whatever you're facing today, know this...perseverance is not passive. It is the active decision to keep standing, trusting, and believing that God is who He says He is.
And on the other side of the test is the crown of life. Keep walking. Keep standing. You are not alone.
