Isn’t Jesus All We Really Have?
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)
There are times when the things we rely on—people, plans, money, or even our own strength—can disappoint us. Circumstances change, but Jesus does not. When everything else feels uncertain, we are reminded that our greatest security is found in Him.
Saying, “Jesus is all we really have,” is not a statement of defeat but of faith. It means recognizing that Christ is the one constant in every season of life. Friends may leave, opportunities may fade, and earthly possessions can be lost, but His love, promises, and presence remain.
Jesus told His followers: “...and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” — Matthew 28:20 (NKJV)
His presence is enough to sustain us through joy and hardship alike. When we realize that Jesus is our greatest treasure, we discover that He is also our greatest source of peace, hope, and strength. The more we trust Him, the more we understand that He has always been enough.
Lord Jesus, thank You for being my constant when everything else changes. Help me to trust You above my circumstances and to find my hope and security in You alone. Remind me each day that Your presence is enough and that You will never leave nor forsake me. In Your name, Amen.
Team Wade loves you and there’s nothing you can do about it ❤️👊
