Becoming Like Him

“I am not today all that I hope to be, yet I see Jesus, and that assures me that I shall one day be like him.” — Charles Spurgeon

“Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.” - 1 John 3:2 NLT

May our lack of not being where we should be never damn us to the pool of shame or the position of paralysis. Rather, through the promises of God, may we rejoice in what today offers each of us as children of God—an opportunity to be more like Him and the privilege to live in His ordained plan for our lives. Whatever your mountain, speak to it about the power, might, and majesty of our holy Creator God.
