Vital signs

”Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.“

‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is my True Vine

Jesus reaches out to us and invites us to be a branch in His vine. Just as a branch is sourced with life-giving sap, without which it would wither and die, so Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit through Himself so that we could experience life. Abiding means to choose to dwell and remain in Jesus day in and day out. The truth is, without fully abiding in God, we will fail in our walk. We know we can ask Him to teach us to abide humbly in the vine, daily choosing to allow Him to refresh us.

Let's Pray

Thank You, Jesus, for offering Yourself as my life source. Thank You for joining me to You the way a branch is joined to a vine. Thank You that I can abide in You, live in You, be complete in You, and You will produce fruit through me. Thank You for giving me everything I need: all of the sustenance I need to face every day. I am sorry for the days I have chosen to live on my own without abiding in You. I don’t want to be the source of my own life; I want to find what I need in You. I choose to trust You, to stay close to You, to believe that You will grow me the way You choose. Please teach me to abide. In Jesus Name Amen.

Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
