No Wasted Pain

“May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead.” - ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭5‬, ‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

A transformation occurs deep within the soul of any person who has been betrayed, abandoned, or abused. When we have been hurt, the Holy Spirit draws us toward healing and restoration. There is both comfort and the power to overcome. We painfully endure, and eventually, we grow and mature. All the pain and the suffering we overcome enables us to be there for others who struggle as we do. What Satan meant for evil, God transforms into good as we comfort and advise others who struggle as we did. No pain is wasted when we help others.
