Submission and Trust

SUBMISSION is a word that seems ugly in our culture. Our society is fiercely independent. It seems like the more you appear self-sufficient, the more people admire you. But if you have ever gone through tragedy, you know that life can be full of unexpected trials.

What we need to do, then, is submit to God. Why? Because He sees the big picture, and we can trust His hand to guide us. This act of trust requires submission.
