Vital signs- Wednesday,January 17th, 2024

“So now, what can I ever give back to God to repay him for the blessings he’s poured out on me? I will lift up his cup of salvation and praise him extravagantly for all that he’s done for me.” Psalm 116:12-13 (TPT)

What can I give back to God for the goodness He has poured out on me? I will praise His name. I will lift up the cup of salvation. In The Message version of Psalm 116, Eugene Peterson uses the word “toast.” He says, “I’ll lift high the cup of salvation—a toast to God!” How fitting! A toast is usually given when a group of people are gathered for a celebration to bring honor and praise to someone. Standing in the courts of the King, if we were to give a toast to God, what would we all be thinking? In that moment what would we, the children of God, say to our Savior?

Almighty God forever You reign
we worship You
for even the grave You overcome
we magnify
Your people rejoice
with hands held high
for every sin You overcome

God, this is my redemption song! I am overwhelmed with Your goodness and my heart overflows with gratitude. I thank You with all the passion of my heart. I am in awe before Your majesty. I rejoice in Your salvation. I lay all You have given me back at Your feet. I lift high Your cup of salvation and praise You extravagantly for all You have done for me!

Team Wade loves you and is praying for you ❤️👊
