The Law or The Light

“For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It must have been confusing for Jewish believers in the early days of the church. After a lifetime of diligently keeping the law, how hard would it be to rethink the whole system you knew and accept Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of the law, the only source of salvation? Keeping a code of laws will never make anyone right with God. Christ wants us to be connected to Him, not obsessing over the rules; He has set us free, not bound to a rigid code. Choose the Lord who saves, not the law that enslaves.
