Vital Signs: Tuesday, November 5, 2024

“When the people return to their homeland, they will remove every trace of their vile images and detestable idols. And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart, so they will obey my decrees and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God.”- ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭11‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

THE GOD OF A THOUSAND CHANCES

The Israelites were disobedient and rebellious. They even worshiped idols in God’s temple. Yet God offered total transformation. They were double-minded with divided hearts, but God promised them singleness of heart and the power of the Holy Spirit. The eternal heart surgeon removes the stubborn, stony heart and replaces it with one that is tender and responsive. If He could restore the Israelites, He can restore us. No project is too difficult for God when He gets involved. For the sinner who thinks he’s gone too far, there is mercy.

Receive the gift. ❤️👊
