Fruit That Proves the Root
“If your theology doesn't change your behavior, it will never change your destiny.” — Charles Spurgeon
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.” - Galatians 5:22 NKJV
I love when the disciples asked Jesus, “How will we know who truly follows You?” Jesus didn’t hesitate. He said, “You will know them by their fruit.” What fruit? Galatians tells us exactly what to look for—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. These aren’t just virtues; they are the very character traits of God.
The Spirit of God in us produces evidence—not perfection, but a transformation that reflects our Creator. So, the question today is this: based on the fruit of your life, are you truly a follower of Christ? Has your heart been changed in a way that mobilizes your life to reflect Him?
If there’s been no change, then ask yourself honestly—has there really been a conversion? The good news is that today is a perfect day to let Jesus change that. He waits with open arms.
