The Word: Timeless and True

“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.” - ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬, ‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Bible is a library. It is a revelation of who God is. The Bible is made up of two major parts:

1: The Old Testament

2: The New Testament

The word testament means covenant. The Old Testament, comprised of 39 books, details the relationship between God and His people before Jesus came. The New Testament, consisting of 27 books, begins with Jesus' arrival as the long-awaited Messiah and demonstrates how everything about Him is superior in every way.

Jesus is concealed in the Old Testament and revealed in the New Testament. In the Old Testament, He is coming. In the Gospels, He is here. The remainder of the New Testament explains why Jesus came and promises He will come again.

It is powerful. It is true. A book so ancient yet proven, trustworthy, authentic, and reliable.

All this for us!
