Built to Last
“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.”
Athletes understand discipline, pressure, and seasons of highs and lows. Psalm 125:1 reminds us that real stability doesn’t come from a hot streak, a starting position, or a strong season; it comes from trusting the Lord. God is not a fad, and faith in Him isn’t something we turn on only when it’s convenient or winning feels good.
When our trust is in God, we become steady like Mount Zion. Losses don’t define us. Injuries don’t break us. Criticism doesn’t shake our identity. Our confidence isn’t based on performance, but on a God who never changes.
Walking the Christian journey as an athlete means showing up with consistency: training when no one is watching, competing with integrity, and trusting God in every season. Trends fade, talent ages, and crowds move on; but God remains. When you build your life on Him, you can compete with confidence, endure setbacks, and stay grounded no matter the scoreboard.
Team Wade is praying for you and loves you and there's nothing you can do about it ❤️👊
