“A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.” - ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭27:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Wisdom in Protection

Arrogance, accomplishments, and accolades can lead us into temptation. We might come to believe we are immune to sin, but even the spiritually strongest person needs to protect themselves against the temptations that most easily lure us in. Protection involves restricting ourselves by limiting where we go and the company we keep. Humbly confessing our shortcomings is self-protection. Surrounding ourselves with good people lessens the chance of falling or failing ourselves, our friends, our families, and our God. For additional protection, keep praying, study scripture, and give at least one person permission to ask you the tough questions.
