Truth

“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” - ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As a teenage boy, I was told that I would never amount to anything. I believed the lie.

However the truth of God's word, tells me a different story. It tells me that I am priceless in the eyes of God so much so that he calls me his own.Digging deeper than my fallen nature, I began to discover the nature of God in me and this sanctification process allows me to walk in his truth. When this occurs then the truth of God's love demands that I no longer live as a slave, but as a child of the king.

The truth of God's word also calls for us to rest in what Jesus did for us on the cross, not in anything that we have or can do for him.
