Vital signs- Sunday, January 22nd, 2023

We can sometimes feel unsure of our salvation. Our own failings or anxieties, or even past relationship experiences, can make us believe that it’s possible that some unknown event in the future could cause us to lose our place in the hand of God. God, of course, will never go back on His word! We have eternal security, a guaranteed place with Him, for the rest of our lives.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.”

‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭27‬-‭29‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Pray with me-

God, thank You for Your Word that is Truth: no one can take me away from You. Thank You that I can abide in You without fear that nothing - external or internal - can get between You and me. You Yourself have said that nothing and no one, no person, none of my sin, no plans or forces of evil, can separate me from You; I am safe in Your hands. I choose to believe Your words today, that You are looking after me, holding me safely, and as long as I remain in You, I will never be separated from You. Please help me renew my mind and remove all doubts that I may not be secure in You. Please show me the truth that I am safe in You. Amen.

The Highest Purpose One of the clearest statements of a believer’s purpose is found in The Gospel of Matthew 22:37; Jesus Christ says the greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all your heart,
