Never Abandoned

Yes, I have experienced trials, tribulations, trouble, and pain, but I have never experienced abandonment. Not to say I’ve never felt abandoned, but at the end of the day, I know it was a lie from the enemy. Though so-called friends may walk away, and though some family members may turn their backs, there is one whose name is Jesus who will never leave you nor forsake you. It is that very fact that brings peace to me like nothing else.

“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, lean not on your own understanding; in all of your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.” - Proverbs 3:5-6
