Called, Not Driven
“Many are called, but few are chosen.” — Matthew 22:14 (NKJV)
God’s voice invites—it does not force. A calling from the Lord carries clarity, peace, and purpose, even when it stretches you. Compulsion, on the other hand, feels like pressure, anxiety, or fear pushing you forward.
“Let the peace of God rule in your hearts…” — Colossians 3:15 (NKJV)
When God calls, His peace acts like a guide. Even in uncertainty, there is a settled assurance that He is leading. Compulsion lacks that peace—it rushes, striving to control outcomes instead of trusting God.
“For God is not the author of confusion but of peace…” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 (NKJV)
If what you feel is confusing and heavy, pause. God’s calling aligns with His character—steady, patient, and full of peace.
Lord, help me to recognize Your voice above every pressure. Teach me to follow Your calling with peace, not compulsion. Lead me in Your truth and quiet my heart to trust You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Team Wade loves you and is praying for you! ❤️👊
