Tearing Up the Scorecard

When it comes to keeping score of those who have done wrong, it’s choosing to carry a suitcase that gets heavier the longer we live. Jesus chose a different path. Jesus chose to tear up the scorecard.

Jesus forgave everyone because everyone needs to be forgiven. God forgives the nightmares of our past so we can redeem our dreams for the future.

“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.” ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Forgiveness is not an occasional act; it is a permanent attitude.

For each person that God places in your path today, leave their heart in better shape than you found it.
