Here is a life-changing truth about our primary identity - “As a true, born again believer we are ministers of Jesus Christ.”

A - We’ve been gifted for ministry.

“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” - ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

B - We’ve been authorized for ministry.

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” - ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

C - We will be rewarded for our ministry.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” - Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We are temples of the Holy Spirit. May we be careful that what we bring into the temple is of God, and we must make sure that the gifts we’ve been given are used for His glory and the benefit of others.
