Never Forsaken
“God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.”
John Piper
“For he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’”
Hebrews 13:5 ESV
Earlier this week, I met with someone who felt forgotten. Life had shifted in ways they did not expect, and the people they once counted on seemed distant. It is hard to walk through those moments without letting doubt settle in. We wonder if God sees us, if He cares, if His promises still hold when life feels empty.
The truth is, He has not stepped away for a single moment. He remains constant, steady, and close. Even when others leave, His presence does not fade. He sees every tear and hears every whispered prayer. His Word reminds us that we are never alone and that His hand is still guiding our steps.
When loneliness tries to speak louder than truth, speak His promises back. Say them out loud. Remind your heart that He is with you right now. Peace comes not from perfect circumstances but from the unshakable presence of the One who will never walk away.
It is worth believing.
