The Faithfulness of God
“Faith is putting out your empty hands to receive the fullness of God.” — Charles Spurgeon
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.’ Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” - Psalms 91:1-4 NKJV
If we will be honest with ourselves, we’ve seen the faithfulness of God in way too many ways to ever doubt Him. I wish I could tell you that I have never doubted God, but in our human nature, we so easily forget the faithfulness of God.
I love the fact that because of the troubled times, the trials, the temptations, the hurt, and the pain, I can look back with confidence and see the good hand of God that has delivered time and time again. His faithful love really does endure forever.
I’m not sure what you’re going through today, but I can assure you that the faithfulness of God will never leave you nor forsake you, nor will His love.
