Vital Signs - Thursday, October 17, 2019

I’ll never forget the call from the Dr. and the words you’ve got cancer, be in my office at 7:45 in the morning.

As my mind raced a million miles a second, I hyper focused on these truths:

· God was not surprised by this.

· God was in control of my life .

.He’d allowed this to happen for His purposes as part of His plan for me.

· He’d promised in His Word never to leave me nor forsake me. He’d promised that all things would ultimately be for my eternal benefit if I’d only continue to trust Him fully.

The immediate facts of the situation created turmoil. The unchanging truth about God created peace.

I would love to say that season of my life was absent of fear, but that would not be truth.Yet because i know the Truth, it always keeps peace within reach.

I’ve found the best way to live without fear is to trust God in every area of your life—not just the easy ones.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭
