“Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!””
John 1:47 NKJV
Nathanael (also known as Bartholomew) was praised by Jesus as ‘an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.’ Nathanael was sincere in his desire for God at any cost. He accepted God's call and committed to living and walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
In what situation are you or a loved one struggling to walk in integrity? Believers must strive to live the kind of life that Jesus lived, even when no one is watching.
Father God, help me to live a life of integrity and honor. Lord, protect me from the temptation to do evil. Help me to reflect Jesus’ character not only in public, but in private as well. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
“He who walks with integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will become known.”
Proverbs 10:9 NKJV
