“And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When buying a new journal there’s always the excitement before anything gets written on the first page. After all it’s the opening page of a new book and my life and a new chapter with my walk with God.

To start with the words God is love is more than enough right ! Everything else that gets written all comes under the banner of God‘s love. His love is true, his love is right.

Then God says to believe his love! And when we do something changes. We feel this anxious, less driven to perform for His acceptance, less compulsive and less empty.

We feel like we want to stay here, to live in his love.

What stands in the way of believing his love? Whatever it is take it to Jesus. Invite him into your situation!

Today embrace this fact; “ God loves you and there’s nothing you can do to change that .”
