Vital signs- Friday- January 20th, 2023

Prayers can sometimes feel like they are bouncing off the ceiling. We can pray and feel like our words are falling flat to the floor, dry and meaningless. Because we can’t see God or touch him with our hands it can be difficult to know that our prayers are reaching Him. The Bible speaks of a wonderful truth that we are to believe, that our prayers are sure to reach His ears!

“for we walk by faith, not by sight—”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

“let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭22‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Pray with me

Thank You, God, that I have direct access to You! Thank You for wanting to be so close to me always. Thank You for desiring to hear my prayers rise like incense to You. I repent for believing the Enemy’s lies that my access to You was blocked or believing the feeling inside of me that my prayers were unheard and useless. Please forgive me. I choose today instead to believe that I have access to You. You hear my prayers, not because of what they are but because it is ‘through Him’ – through Jesus, my Mediator. Amen.
